A mission you might eventually accomplish is the Resurrection of the Oasis. This task is relatively simple yet has a significant impact on Gemstone Mountain’s terrain. Moreover, it’s essential for progressing through numerous subsequent tasks. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to revive the Oasis in Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

How To Unlock Revive The Oasis

Before embarking on Revive the Oasis, there are some prerequisites you should fulfill first. Essentially, you’ll have to finish Dessert-ed Boat and Parched, and raise your bond with My Melody up to level 11.

These two quests have their own prerequisites, so we’ve listed these out below.

Requirements for Dessert-ed Boat:
- Level 4 Friendship with Pompompurin
- Complete Power Up The Gate (this just requires level 1 friendship with Chococat)
Requirements for Parched:
- Complete Dessert-ed Boat
- Complete Open the Nature Preserve
- Complete Meet the Island Beings

After finishing the primary missions and reaching level 11 with My Melody, you’ll be ready to embark on the journey to «Revitalize the Oasis.

How To Start Revive The Oasis

Initiating this journey, you need to encounter Keroppi first. He hangs out near the Oasis in Mount Gemstone, and your player icon marks his precise spot on the provided map. You can find him on a bridge, right at the upper part of the valley-like area where Pompompurin’s boat is docked.

Keroppi is observing a stone obstruction hindering a passage; chat with him to gather some information about the situation. Following a brief exchange, My Melody will emerge and encourage you to investigate the surroundings. My Melody hints at following the riverbed’s course, but for the moment, simply follow her and Keroppi as they move slightly towards the northwest.

As you progress, you’ll come across an opening of a cave that leads further in. This entrance is quite close; all you need to do is keep moving north over the bridge. Should you pause for a moment and lose your way, rest assured, My Melody and Keroppi will be waiting nearby.

How To Find The Source Of Water

At present, venture into the cave. Inside, you’ll find a parched riverbed along with a wooden plank path. The journey to the water source is straightforward. Start from the initial point and move straight towards the upper right corner, then follow the exit. Once in the second section, again head towards the upper right corner.

Enter the cave now. Inside, you’ll see a dry riverbed with a wooden path ahead. The water source is easily accessible. Start from the first spot and go straight to the top-right corner, then exit. In the second area, head towards the top-right corner again.

Following this action, you’ll find yourself in a fresh location boasting an underwater lake. By walking just a bit south along the path, you’ll encounter Chococat who shares his activities with you.

The objective is to remove the large rock obstructing the water stream. Following conversations with My Melody and Keroppi, Chococat will provide you with plans to construct a pickaxe. Now, it’s time for you to go and build this useful instrument.

How To Make The Pickaxe

Head back to a Crafting Station to create your pickaxe. You’ll require ten Woodblocks and three Ingots for this task. Once crafted, your journey will take you back to Chococat, My Melody, and Keroppi.

How To Break Boulders And Get Water Flowing Again

To shatter the pickaxe, simply move closer to it. As you do this, your action button will transform into a pickaxe. Tap on this repeatedly until the rock crumbles. This is how you destroy every boulder in the game; there’s no need to physically equip it.

Currently, your objective is to remove all the boulders obstructing the water’s way. In total, there are four boulders that require breaking. To accomplish this, navigate along the dried-up riverbed and clear any boulder that impedes an entryway.

If you feel lost during this task, don’t fret! The quest indicator will automatically guide you towards any intact rocks. Once you smash those boulders, you’ll be led to chat with everyone who are waiting just outside the cave, close to Pompompurin’s boat.

If you get confused while completing this task, don’t panic! The quest symbol will automatically move towards any undamaged rocks. After you destroy those boulders, it will guide you to talk with everyone who are waiting just outside the cave, near Pompompurin’s boat.

How To Complete Revive The Oasis

As Keroppi chats with you, Kiki and Lala will show up. They’ll express their gratitude for restoring the Oasis, and as a token of appreciation, they’ll present you with a star fragment. However, at this point in time, these two characters are yet to be unlocked.

After completing the journey, the Desert Vessel will now remain fixed at its new mooring post. Instead of leaping into the desiccated lake bed, you can swiftly teleport to the Oasis and then stroll across easily.

The Oasis Needs Resurrection is crucial for progressing through various tasks in the game. Take a peek at your quest journal; some tasks may no longer be grayed out now. This quest is essential, particularly if you’re keen to acquire the pickaxe.
